How do I connect to my VPS via SSH?
Retrieve the IPv4 and the user, check the fingerprint then install an SSH key.
Your initial login details are shown in the panel once the VPS is created. Use the noVNC console if the network or SSH does not respond.
Step-by-step procedure
-
Copy address
Open the VPS in My services and note the public IPv4, the initial user and the SSH port.
-
Run SSH
From Terminal, PowerShell, or Windows Terminal, connect to the address shown.
-
Check the fingerprint
On first access, compare the fingerprint if one is provided, then accept it. A fingerprint that changes without a reinstallation should be treated as a warning sign.
-
Install a key
Generate an Ed25519 key and copy the public key to ~/.ssh/authorized_keys.
-
Keep noVNC
The emergency console remains accessible from the panel even if the firewall blocks SSH.
