How do I regain root access with noVNC?
Reset a lost password from an authorized local session without exposing the VPS.
Recovery depends on the Linux image and access already available. noVNC does not bypass authentication: it only gives access to the local console of the VM.
Step-by-step procedure

Try a sudo account
Log in with the user created during installation then use sudo passwd root or change your own password.

Check the keyboard
In noVNC, check AZERTY/QWERTY and Caps Lock before concluding that the password is wrong.

Use emergency mode if necessary
If no local account works, open a ticket for an image-specific recovery procedure. Do not edit GRUB without a backup.

Renew access
After recovery, install an SSH key, test it in a second session and disable unnecessary methods.
No automatic bypass
The console does not replace the Linux login credentials. A reinstallation destroys the data and remains the last resort.
