How do ports and allocations work?

Identify the primary address, add an authorized port, and configure secondary ports.

An allocation associates an IP address and a port with the service. The main allocation is used for the connection; the additional ports are used for a query, RCON or a plugin.

Step-by-step procedure

  1. Read main address

    The console and Network display the address to give to players.

  2. Identify the need

    Consult the official game documentation before adding an RCON, query, or voice port.

  3. Add an allocation

    In Network, select an available allocation if the offering allows multiple ports.

  4. Enter the variable

    Associate the new port with the corresponding startup variable and then restart.
